Debra Wadling­ton paints in a style that reflects the real­ism of the cul­tures of the Amer­i­can West and South­west. Debra’s life-long pas­sion res­onates through­out her art with every stroke of col­or, skill­ful­ly cap­tur­ing the indeli­ble spir­it of the land, the peo­ple, and traditions.

Native to New Mex­i­co, where she attend­ed school and began her career in art, Debra’s aca­d­e­m­ic achieve­ments include degrees in Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Art, Bach­e­lor of Art in Sec­ondary Edu­ca­tion Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, and a Mas­ters in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion. She has taught at var­i­ous grade lev­els in pri­ma­ry and sec­ondary schools, in addi­tion to col­lege as an adjunct Pro­fes­sor of Art. Debra resides in Texas where she con­tin­ues to paint her passion.
