B. Gail Cochrane is retired from Northrop Grumman where she worked as a senior computer systems engineer and program manager for over 20 years. In preparation for retirement, she began taking art classes at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and the Alexandria Art League School, Torpedo Factory, Alexandria, VA. She was privileged to study under artists such as Robert (Rob) Liberace, Susan Abbott, Richard (Rick) Weaver, Bill Christenberry, and Natasha Mokino while living in the Washington, D.C. area. Additionally, she has studied at Studio Incamminati, Philadelphia, PA which was founded by Nelson Shanks; La Romita School of Art, Terni, Umbria, Italy; and The Academy of Art, St. Petersburg, Russia. Gail has also been fortunate to have traveled with artists to Greece, Ireland, France, England, and India as well as sites within the United States. Gail is a “Museum Junkie” and feels fortunate to have visited art museums throughout her travels.
