I have lived all over the state of Texas and now East Texas. I am addict­ed to the beau­ti­ful, nat­ur­al envi­ron­ment that East Texas has to offer! My work is strong­ly influ­enced by the col­ors and pat­terns that I see each day around me in this region. My goal is to cre­ate works of art that bring the beau­ty of the out­side nat­ur­al envi­ron­ment indoors. Mixed media pro­vides the tools I need to achieve the nat­ur­al influ­ence I strive for in my work. 
I am a mixed media artist that loves to cre­ate con­tem­po­rary abstract paint­ings. My works range in size from very small to very large. I am inspired by nature, col­or and tex­ture. My medi­ums are acrylic, water­col­or, alco­hol ink, tex­ture medi­ums, and epoxy resin. Depth and col­or are always my pri­ma­ry con­sid­er­a­tions when start­ing a work. I love work­ing with mixed media since the pos­si­bil­i­ties are endless!
