Matt Kaplin­sky is an estab­lished North Texas artist who has been paint­ing since 1991. Self-taught, Matt has applied his love of the envi­ron­ment to the con­cepts he works out in orig­i­nal can­vas paintings.

Occa­sion­al­ly, one may find a ref­er­ence to mod­ern art and inte­ri­or design in his deriva­tions of nat­ur­al forms that quote one or more of his favorite artists.

Matt’s inspi­ra­tion comes from nature and mid-twen­ti­eth cen­tu­ry con­tem­po­rary artists, and are fre­quent­ly the choice of inte­ri­or design jobs that require fine art to com­plete an aesthetic.
